- $500 Travel n nPosition Description : 1. General job duties. Types of procedures required. Types and ages of patients, number of rooms n nGeneral duties of an Emergency Department RN to include the care of Cardiac, Respiratory, Neuro, Trauma, Stroke, and general Medical patients.
Population Geriatric to Pediatric. n n2. Equipment utilized in the unit / dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.
What equipment is attached to the clinic, x-ray, lab or do they have to send out for these? What hospitals will have privileges if any n nEPIC Computer Charting, Omnicell mediation and supply distribution, Telemedicine Robot for Stroke Care.
Imaging and lab are located within the hospital. n n3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. n nSkills may include anything from Surgical (Ortho, Neuro, CV, etc.
Family Practice, Cardiology, Geriatrics, etc. 2+ years experience in Emergency Department setting n n4. Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required.
BLS, ACLS, NCCPA / AANP) Is a national certification required? Is a DEA, Prescriptive Authority required? n nTNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS required n n5.
Shift or schedule requirements. (What support staff are in the clinic; Is a doctor available by phone, in the clinic, etc.
Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required? n nEmergency Department has 24 hour physician coverage. Schedule will be variable days and nights 11a-11p, 2a-2p and 7p-7a.
n n6. Number of patients in a day; who do they have as support staff? n nWe see approximately 100- 120 patients daily. We have Charge RN, Emergency Department RN s, Technicians, and Coordinating Clerks.
n n7. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) n n3-4 : 1 depending on patient acuity n n8. Dress Code : n nClean Scrubs n n9.
