Mechanical Engineer
Growing Company in Southern Washington State(Longview area) has a need for a Mechancial Engnieer. This is adirect hire role with a full benefitspackage.
Modify designs of existing products toadapt to various pieces of equipment.
Createaccurate 3D models of metal products in Solidworkssoftware
Collaborates with electrical hydraulicand mechanical groups to create edit or update drawings modelsprints or manuals as needed.
Determines theclearest and most logical way to present information andinstructions for greatest reader comprehension and writes and editstechnical information accordingly
Prepares orcommissions graphics and illustrations to elaborate on orcomplement technical writing
Performs basicmechanical calculations related to force moment and stressanalysis
Performs all other duties asassigned
Qualifications :
BSDegree in Mechanical Engineering required
2 yearsrelated experience with emphasis on designpreferred
Excellent problem solving andtroubleshooting skills.
Excellent measuringskills and expert level use of various measuringtools
Adaptability to rapidly changing workingenvironments and operationalsituations.
Welldeveloped mechanical drawingskills including proper drafting dimensioning and tolerancetechniques
Working knowledge of draftingstandards
Welldeveloped technical writingskills
Ability to create technical manuals andassembly instructions for products andequipment.
Ability to work from rough sketches tocreate detailed part and assembly models
