Salary : Annual salary range is commensurate with education and years of experience.

Salary range : $42,862.05 $62,150.55.

Job Description

Basic Purpose

Position assists and supports the school principals in overall administration of instructional programs in a manner that supports a learning environment that maximizes the potential of each student.

Coordinates assigned student activities and services. Provides professional support to the OSD resources to the IEAP. Assist teachers and students in integrating technology and other personalized learning strategies into their daily teaching and learning practices.

Represent the school in dealing with students, parents, and teachers of students who are demonstrating behavioral problems at school.

Oversees the administration of assessments and the collection of data to monitor student progress and inform instructional decisions.

Trial period (if applicable) is required.

Education and Experience

Master’s degree in deaf education and / or educational leadership. Bachelor’s degree in deaf education or any education field.

Experience as a lead teacher or of a project or activity.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies

Knowledge of being a lead teacher or leading an activity or program.

Preferred Qualifications : American Sign Language Skills.
