Job Details
- IR / CATH LAB TECH - 40 HRS DAY M-F
- Shift : Days 7-1530 PM / / 40 hours weekly
- START DATE : 11 / 5
- On Call : Call every other week Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 1530-2200 and Saturday 0800-1600
- Holiday Requirement : Every other holiday
- Special Procedures : Scrub for IR, vascular, and pain procedures. Ability to work with specific equipment.
- Skill Required : Interventional Radiology, PACS, Angioplasty, Embolization, Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement, Liver Biopsy, Mesenteric Angiogram, Paracentesis, Stent placement, Thoracentesis, Catheter / drain exchange, Internal / external biliary drainage, Renal Artery Stent Placement, Ureteral Stent Placement, Carotid Angiography, Discogram, Embolization, Stent placement, Thrombolysis / Thrombectomy, Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Dialysis Graft interventions (fistulograms / declots), Endovascular Interventions, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Thrombolysis / Thrombectomy, Central Venous Access (non-Tunneled / PICC lines), Accurate monitoring, Equipment set up, Perform EKG lead placement, Prep access site, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Equipment expertise, documentation system experience
- Skills Preferred : Computed tomography, Ultrasound, IV starts
- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
