Overview

The Office of Criminal Conflict & Civil Regional Counsel, First DCA Region is seeking a full-time attorney in our Jacksonville, FL office who will be responsible for a criminal case load in Duval County.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in various types of court hearings, including jury trials, non-jury trials, motion practice, and related legal work.
  • Conduct client and witness interviews, prepare witnesses for trial, perform legal research, draft legal documents and filings, and provide ongoing assessment of the merits of a case.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Criminal Defense.
  • Member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
  • Ability to cover cases on multiple dockets and manage a heavy caseload.
