Warehouse General Worker
Job Description :
We are seeking a hard-working and dependable Warehouse Helper to efficiently process all incoming and outgoing merchandise in line with company guidelines.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing warehouse storage space, regularly removing warehouse trash, and promptly notifying management of any damaged merchandise or equipment.
Adherence to company safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment is essential.
Responsibilities :
- Receive incoming merchandise, and verify quality and condition.
- Weigh and count received items.
- Assist warehouse staff in retrieving specific merchandise as per delivery or shipping orders.
- Prepare merchandise for delivery or shipping by packaging and labeling items appropriately.
- Move outgoing merchandise to the delivery area.
- Ensure all merchandise is properly secured in delivery vehicles to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Use warehouse lift equipment to load, unload, move, lift, or stack merchandise as required.
- Organize warehouse merchandise, stacking them on shelves and racks in accordance with company guidelines.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting as needed.
Requirements :
- Knowledgeable of standard warehouse practices.
- Ability to lift or move heavy objects.
- Proficient in using various lift equipment safely.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
To be successful, you should demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow safety regulations at all times.
