Freelance Video Producer
Looking for an experienced videographer / video producer with experience in indie filmmaking and a non narrative traditional structure.
The vision is less formal and capturing candid moments and shots. Being able to recognize the moments with an organic feel.
Think of Netflix documentaries such as Capturing those poignant moments is what makes a film with minimal equipment to film the last stages of my father's life.
My father is terminally ill with cancer which has spread to his bones and may have 2 to 3 weeks to live if we're lucky. This is a last minute request and if you're looking to pay it forward, this is it.
This would be a DEFERRED paying opportunity if a distributor is interested in the project.
My mom just passed in June and she died in my arms from Parkinson's. This caregiving journey has been a beautiful yet challenging journey at best.
Since I have sacrificed being in LA to care for my family, I want this to be a tribute to my parents. If you're willing to help, I would greatly appreciate this.
This is not about attention, it's about awareness into the caregiving journey so many of us face. I want to create something that so many people are unaware of yet so many suffer behind closed doors not realizing just how difficult this journey is.
I am looking for someone who has compassion yet able to think outside of the box and stay on top of things even when times get tough.
To respect that there will be times I can't predict. I just want this to be a beautiful tribute to the most amazing parents and to know that those who are caregiving, you are not alone.
