Job Description :

As a Software Engineering Consultant, you will engage in complex, large-scale initiatives that have broad impacts across the organization.

This role requires deep technical expertise and the ability to navigate multifaceted Software Engineering challenges. You will be expected to :

• Consult on strategic initiatives and large-scale planning for Software Engineering projects.
• Analyze and resolve complex, multi-faceted Software Engineering challenges that require the consideration of multiple factors, including unique or unprecedented situations.
• Contribute to solutions that adhere to internal policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, ensuring deliverables meet the organization’s standards.
• Collaborate strategically with cross-functional teams, including client personnel, to ensure alignment on goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review and analyze large-scale, long-term Software Engineering problems.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on a solid understanding of industry best practices.
• Ensure project deliverables are in line with the organization’s objectives.
• Work within an Agile development environment to provide feedback and enhancements.

Required Qualifications :

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military, or education.
• 7+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (mandatory).
• 5+ years of experience with data modeling and database design .
• 7+ years of experience in developing database objects such as tables, views, complex stored procedures, and user-defined functions.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL query performance tuning .
• 5+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment.

Nice to Have :

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau reporting.
• Experience with ETL processes .

Skills & Competencies :

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on strategic solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Solid understanding of compliance and risk management in Software Engineering.
