We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in the manufacturing industry, based in WEST CHICAGO, Illinois.
In this role, you'll be tasked with a range of responsibilities from preparing invoices to maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the preparation of invoices ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial records for precision.
- Engage with different departments to rectify any billing discrepancies.
- Ensure payments are made in a timely manner and follow up on any delayed payments.
- Utilize accounting software systems effectively for all billing functions.
- Perform tasks related to accounts receivable as required.
- Code invoices accurately based on the established guidelines.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of computerized billing processes and systems.
- Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary actions if discrepancies are found.
- Utilize billing software for efficient and accurate billing processes.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
- Experience with Computerized Billing
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
- Understanding of Billing Functions within the manufacturing industry
- Ability to Code Invoices accurately
- Experience with Coding Invoices to ensure correct billing
- Prior experience with Billing in a manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with Billing software and its application in accounting processes
