Position : Drafter / Designer

Location : Tulsa, OK

Pay : $64,000 / year + Full Benefits Package

Experience :

  • 5+ years of experience in drafting for manufacturing.
  • 3+ years of working knowledge of 3D Parametric CAD, SOLIDWORKS preferred.

Education : High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Technical Certificate or an AA degree in drafting preferred.

Type : Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm

ProRecruiters is seeking a Drafter / Designer to join a growing and dynamic team! The Drafter / Designer is primarily responsible for checking drawings for natural gas line heaters, industrial direct contact water heaters, glycol dehydration units, and other products to the specifications assigned by engineering.

Job Description :

  • Assign projects to design drafters, track the projects to meet deadlines, and monitor performance.
  • Check General Arrangement, Fabrication, and Assembly for assigned Projects using both 3D CAD and occasionally 2D CAD.
  • Design drawing packages to meet the customers’ requirements for each job.
  • Manage Engineering Change tasks within the PLM and ERP systems.
  • Generate drawing packages for the production and service of projects.
  • Interface with engineering, production, and purchasing personnel for Engineering Changes.
  • Verify CNC files for the burn table using 2D CAM software.

    • Position Requirements :

  • Familiarity with metal fabrication and welding procedures.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team on assigned tasks.
  • Strong commitment to safety.
  • Technical capacity with high attention to the quality of work.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work in an office environment.
