Salary :
LPR International is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support our client with a federal contract based in Springfield, VA. This role supports a program called GEODS, a cross-functional team that utilizes the latest AWS developments and practices to manage a large customer-facing data lake.
This position requires an Active TS / SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain a poly.
Team members are involved in the dissemination of data as well as the transformation and storage of data. Regularly, developers are involved in designing and implementing new custom features that solve unique problems as well as updating and optimizing legacy features.
Each developer has the opportunity to design and implement noticeable and impactful changes to the system as a whole. Additionally, there exists a pervasive sense of collaboration but also independent work which allows for the best of both environments.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain AWS C2S environments in support of teams of developers across various security domains.
- Support the development of CI / CD DevOps pipeline to include Jenkins agents and Auto Scaling Group.
- Support administration of OpenVPN and LDAP services for access to AWS console and CI / CD tools.
- Create and maintain automated microservice deployments to AWS environment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks.
- Work with development teams to automate and accelerate build, test, and deployment of applications into a runtime environment across multiple domains / environments.
- Design, develop and implement processes for DevOps operations; utilizing CI / CD principals and patterns, employing CI / CD tools, to achieve successful continuous integration and delivery solutions for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and software applications.
- Build and maintain Cloud infrastructure
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with development team to streamline code deployment
- Design and develop using common languages / scripting languages, such as Python, Linux Shell (Bash / Bourne / etc), and Java / SpringBoot
Requirements :
- Active TS / SCI with ability to obtain Poly Clearance
- Master’s degree plus 4 years experience, Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years experience, Associates degree plus 12 years experience, or a minimum of 15 years experience, in relevant field
- At least 6 years of experience with Maven, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible
- Experience with Container and Orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Experience in Amazon Webservice Platform and Technologies, AWS Server Less, SQS / SNS, Lambda, ECS, EC2
- Experience in CI / CD Process.
