We provide the necessary training and appropriate tools to help you grow and earn the opportunity to advance into an Executive Chef role.

Responsibilities :

• Protects the quality and integrity of all food produced in the food & nutrition department
• Manages inventory, ordering, production planning, schedules, payroll, and supplies to ensure budget compliance for the department
• Develops creative menus for the facilitys cafeteria, and catering programs that are in sync with current market trends
• Creates an atmosphere in the department that fosters great team morale, passion for quality, and respect for each other
• Hires and trains new team members in a manner that sets them up to be fully competent and passionate about our food programs
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines

Requirements :

• Associates or Bachelors degree from an accredited culinary program is preferred.
• In lieu of formal culinary training, a minimum of 5 years experience as a Sous Chef or an Executive Chef in fine dining establishments, hotels, resorts, and / or country clubs
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Fully competent with Microsoft Office, ordering platforms, and email communications
• A passion for food, a desire to grow, and a work ethic that supports both

Skills :

• Able to set up an action station daily that demonstrates your culinary talent, creativity, and customer service skills
• Knife skills and cutting techniques
• Recipe costing and forecasting capabilities
• Team-oriented leader
