The Woodinville Cut Shop is your neighborhood, good-timin' roadhouse restaurant and lounge located on the Slough in Woodinville, WA.
Open seating, order-at-the-bar kinda place. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, in-house smoked meats, tacos, fries, local craft beers,and the rough stuff done right.
Covered & heated outdoor seating, fire pit, big screen TVs and always kid-friendly until definitely not. Open at 11AM for lunch every day of the week.
The Job
As Executive Sous Chef you will train under our Executive Chef to assist in maintaining, executing and continuously developing menus for our two food service locations and future catering program and grow your career alongside our brand and our beliefs in great food and casual family-like service.
Organization of cleaning schedules, employee scheduling, oversee training and assist in educating staff about the food that we serve.
Overseeing / manage daily ordering and prep schedules completed by our sous chef(s) while keeping an eye on costs
Knowledge of kitchen equipment and their needs including maintenance and cleaning
Working directly with our restaurant manager to communicate that the restaurant is staffed appropriately for parties and employees are phased or cleaning tasks are completed.
The Candidate :
Our perfect candidate will be passionate and appropriately confident yet humble while being Flexible, understanding, level headed and patient.
Understanding that it takes a village to achieve the things we strive for.
2+ years proven experience in high volume kitchen management and 5+ years of reputable culinary experience.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills are a must
A Confident understanding of proper kitchen sanitation and food organization
Knowledge of food and how it behaves, we are a very busy restaurant so we take pride in our ability to execute the best scratch product without taxing our line and creating lengthy ticket times.
