About The Position
A facility is seeking a hematologist / oncologist for locum tenens coverage.
Southwestern Iowa offers fun activities such as exploring the Loess Hills Scenic Byway, visiting the historic sites in Council Bluffs, and enjoying outdoor recreation at Lake Manawa State Park.
The position will be Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with minimal evening phone call responsibilities. The position involves treating adult patients, with a daily volume of 20 patients, comprising 40% hematology and 60% oncology cases.
The role includes general hem / onc procedures, supported by MAs, RNs, NPs, and Pharmacy staff, using Onco EMR for charting.
