Job Summary :

Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as NA and CNA hires.

These positions are full-time, salary healthcare / medical jobs in the franchise industry, located in Honolulu, Hawaii.

As an individual contributor, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our senior clients, allowing them to maintain their independence and age with dignity.

Compensation & Benefits :

Compensation for these positions is $18 to $25 per hour, paid weekly.

Workplace Selection : Multiple facilities to choose from, select a workplace / Clients that suit your preferences

Responsibilities :

• Provide personal care and assistance to senior clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Assist with medication reminders and administration as directed by a healthcare professional
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients to promote socialization and mental stimulation
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as well as light housekeeping and laundry tasks
• Document client care and progress in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other members of the care team, including nurses and therapists, to create and implement individualized care plans
• Report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professional
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, following infection control and safety protocols
• Maintain confidentiality of all client information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Follow all company policies and procedures and participate in ongoing training and education opportunities
• Consistently demonstrate empathy, patience, and respect towards clients and their families
• Strive to create a positive and comfortable environment for clients, fostering their independence and well-being

Requirements :

• Active NA or CNA certification in the state of Hawaii
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months of experience working with seniors, preferably in a healthcare or home care setting
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic knowledge of safety and infection control protocols
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
