This role is part of a QE team to work on testing & automation for Web applications.

Your role

Understand and Gather requirements

Create Test cases / scenarios

Develop Test scripts

Execute Test cases / scripts in various environments (QA, STG, etc.)

Bug reporting and Defect triage

Integrating scripts with CI / CD pipeline

Documentation

Lead team if applicable

Your skills and experience

8 yrs. of experience in software engineering - QA testing

Expertise in Web UI testing and automation using Selenium WebDriver / TestNG / JUnit etc.

API testing and Automation using Rest Assured / ReadyAPI / etc.

Proficient in Java

Experience using Version control (GIT), CI / CD Tools (Jenkins), Build Tools, (Maven, ANT, etc.), Debugging Tools (Charles / Fiddler), Agile Management Tool (JIRA), Test Management Tool (QMetry)

Good communication skills

Good to know Mobile testing / automation using Appium with Java, etc.

Testing / automation on POS systems / applications will be an added advantage
