Locum - Physician - Psychiatry - Inpatient Davenport IA

Genesis Medical Center's East and West Campuses in Davenport, Iowa are searching for a locum Psychiatrist to cover 2-3 weeks per month Schedule :

• Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
• Provider will round in the morning, and every third day they will take a turn managing all hospital calls / consults, etc. (during shift hours)
• NO CALL on evenings or weekends - only during regular business hours
• The need is for 2-3 weeks per month

Job Description :

• Candidates must be Board Certified in Psychiatry (Will not accept BE)
• Experience in treating patients ages 6 and up is preferred
• Inpatient Psych (adult unit and adolescent unit), Hospital Consults, ER Consults NOT OPEN TO TELEHEALTH
• Average Number of Patients Per Day : 5-12
• Total Number of Beds : 18 adults, 5 adolescents
• How Many Psychiatrists in Your Group? 1 part-time inpatient right now
• How Many Advanced Practice Providers Support Your Group? 2
• How Many Psychologists? Zero, inpatient
• Documentation System / EMR : Cerner
• Trauma Level / Designation III
• Referral / Transfer Protocol : University of Iowa, 40 minutes by car
• Safety / Security Measures in Place : security on each campus
• Required Treatment Disorders : Anxiety Disorders, Affective Disorders, ADD / ADHD, Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders, Developmental Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Organic Disorders
• Required to have familiarity with Family Therapy, Restraint Application, Group Therapy, Pharmacotherapy, Seclusion therapy, Voluntary Commitments, ER
• Not accepting visa candidates
• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe : 60-90 days

Rates needed for submission :

• Malpractice (must be included in the rates)
• Orientation
• Hourly
• Holiday
• Overtime (OT after 9 hours)
• Holiday Overtime
• Conversion Fee (BR5k rate cap)

Requirement description :

ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED AT NAME CLEAR UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.

• Board Certified in Psychiatry - REQUIRED (Not accepting BE)
• Must be available at least 2 weeks per month Monday-Friday - REQUIRED
• IA license or IMLC - REQUIRED
• Inpatient experience - REQUIRED
• Experience in treating patients ages 6 and up - REQUIRED
• State experience with conditions / treatments : Anxiety Disorders, Affective Disorders, ADD / ADHD, Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders, Developmental Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Organic Disorders, Family Therapy, Restraint Application, Group Therapy, Pharmacotherapy, Seclusion therapy, Voluntary Commitments, ER - REQUIRED
• 2+ years of inpatient psych experience - highly preferred (list years of experience with IP Psych at time of name clear)
