We are seeking an entrepreneurial Content Strategist to join the Private Wealth Marketing (PWM) team. PWM supports Hamilton Lane's partnerships with private banks, wealth management firms, broker dealers, registered investment advisors (RIA) and family offices to offer institutional-quality private markets investments to these intermediaries and their clients.

The PWM team works across Hamilton Lane's business units and corporate functions to support a rapidly expanding business.

The team is responsible for supporting the marketing of investment solutions through owned and paid channels and private wealth partners.

This role is tasked with helping build awareness, understanding, and confidence in private markets and Hamilton Lane's offerings among clients, prospects, and the broader investment community through education, insights and investment communications.

This role is responsible for the creation and production of all PW marketing content to further elevate Hamilton Lane's global private wealth brand and support Hamilton Lane stakeholders globally.

The specific subject matter, content, and project management duties that this individual will cover will vary. This role will be an important member of Hamilton Lane's Editorial Board and will report to the Head of Private Wealth Marketing.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Define and deliver Hamilton Lane's global PW content strategy across markets, audiences, products and services. Offer new ideas for themes, production and distribution.
  • In collaboration with senior leaders and stakeholders, partner with business units to develop content which helps drive advisors' understanding and adoption of private markets.

Deliverables include written communications, brochures, videos and digital content.

  • Responsible for all PWM content management and execution, including content creation, development and internal resource coordination.
  • Create and manage repeatable processes and documentation that provides efficiency and transparency. Manage the entire PW content workflow, including stakeholder and compliance review.
  • Manage and continue to build Hamilton Lane's Knowledge Center, a public educational resource.
  • Contribute to the firm's content distribution program with external partners
  • Responsible for on-time, to-specification delivery of all projects with a strong ownership mindset.
  • Work cross-functionally to directly and indirectly support Sales through the production of high quality, timely and relevant content.
  • Measure and report on content effectiveness and trends.
  • Maintain effective internal communication, including stakeholder updates.

Qualifications :

  • 8-10 years' experience in asset management / wealth management with a focus on content strategy, content creation and investment communications.
  • Proven experience delivering succinct, high quality, error-free commercial content marketing and visual ideation. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write and edit for style, substance and grammar.
  • Curiosity and passion for investment themes, ideas; clear and simple expression of each.
  • History of developing content for the private wealth audience, with an understanding of the various external audiences and intermediary channels in asset management.
  • Out-of-the-box thinking and a history of bringing forth innovative, differentiating ideas.
  • Experience managing a service offering, such as an educational platform is preferred.
  • Organized and project-oriented, with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize recurring and opportunistic projects and multiple tasks.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders of all levels and communicate clearly and effectively; present recommendations and report on progress.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset; ability to work across teams and business units. Confidence and composure to garner respect and influence multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PPT). Working knowledge of external marketing distribution channels, especially social and CRMs.
  • Writing samples are required.
