We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Manager to join our team at Generations Family Practice. The Clinical Manager will run our clinical team and play a key role in providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with healthcare providers, and ensuring the smooth operation of clinical activities.

Job Duties
- Create an inspiring, positive team environment by exhibiting exemplary leadership skills at all times. Provide guidance, instruction, and training to team members to ensure they are performing at their maximum potential
- Oversee daily clinical operations and be accountable for actions and tasks completed by clinical support staff
- Monitor staff’s performance and adherence to office policies and protocols. Ensure disciplinary action is followed according to policy
- Create new clinical policies and procedure and implement according to Medical Director and Practice Administrator’s direction
- Hire and train new employees. Ensure clinical competencies are completed per skill set.
- Supervise staff and complete routine performance reviews in collaboration with the Practice Administrator
- Assist with clinical tasks and fill in as needed to ensure adequate coverage for the clinical team
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills for talking to patients, healthcare providers, and clinical support staff
- Ensures patient satisfaction, including troubleshooting when there is a complaint and developing process improvements to prevent recurrences Take inventory, and order necessary supplies and equipment from established vendors.
Ensure all ordering is cost effective and falls within budgetary guidelines.
Ensure the healthcare facility is following provincial / territorial and federal healthcare regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, labor laws, etc.)
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and / or LPN or RN Licensure (Required)
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a medical office setting.
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management position
- Experience in primary care or out patient clinic setting
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong understanding of clinical nursing practices and patient care standards.
- Knowledge of primary care practices and procedures.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a clinical team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate with healthcare providers, staff, and patients.
- Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and their application.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Familiarity with compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g. HIPAA, labor laws, etc.)
- Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems (experience using Athena is a plus)
- Empathy and the ability to build positive patient relationships.
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing healthcare environments and emerging trends.
- Knowledge of regulations related to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
- Professional communication and presentation skills, including face to face, email, telephone, and video conference.
