This Medical Assistant is a full time, day shift position working at our Primary Care Physician Clinics on 2300 Houghton Rd.
Summary :
Performs patient care activities under the supervision of a provider. Assists providers with medical procedures and office administrative processes as required.
Position Qualifications / Minimum Requirements
Education :
Required : High School diploma / GED, and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program
Note : If hired prior to 4 / 1 / 2021, equivalent experience is allowed in lieu of HS diploma / GED)."
Experience :
Preferred : Six (6) months experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program at NH.
Licenses / Certifications :
Required : American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification.
Within 90 days of hire date, must have one of these certifications : Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) issued by AAMA, CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) issued by NHA, NCMA (National Certified Medical Assistant) issued by NCCT or, the RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) issued by AMT."
