Shift : Mid 3x12-Hour (15 : 00 - 03 : 30); Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience; must have Level II trauma experience
License : Valid state nursing license required
Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS (AHA certifications required)
Must-Have : Experience in triage, traumas, codes, cardiac arrest, stroke, any level of patient acuity; preferred ENPC, CEN, and Cerner experience
Job Description :
- Work 36 hours per week with variable shifts beginning primarily at 15 : 00 or later.
- Must work every other weekend and every other holiday; no on-call duties.
- Required to float within the hospital when needed.
- Participate in an orientation including up to 8 hours of modules.
- Required to show proof of background check initiation and lab appointments within 48 hours.
- Compliance with mandatory certification requirements prior to start.
- Flu vaccine required, with medical / religious exemptions accepted.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple patient acuities and complex cases.
- Familiarity with common ER procedures and protocols, including cardiac arrest and stroke management.
- Complete required modules during orientation.
