Position Overview
The BCBA Program Manager at MASS Services is a hybrid role, combining direct supervision, clinical oversight, and program management.
In this role, you will provide direct and indirect supervision to Behavior Technicians, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and Clinical Supervisors.
The role requires 60% direct supervision, with 40% of that being conducted in person, and a 60% to 40% ratio of indirect to direct supervision.
The BCBA Program Manager is responsible for ensuring high-quality ABA services, supporting team members, and driving program development and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Supervision (60%, 40% in person 20% telehealth)
- Provide direct supervision and mentorship to Behavior Technicians, RBTs, and Clinical Supervisors, ensuring the high-quality implementation of ABA treatment plans.
- Conduct in-person observations for at least 50% of direct supervision hours, offering feedback and guidance to improve clinical skills and ensure treatment fidelity.
- Oversee the delivery of behavior intervention plans and make necessary adjustments to meet client-specific goals related to communication, social skills, and behavior reduction.
- Collaborate with Clinical Supervisors to support complex cases, addressing client-specific challenges with appropriate behavior interventions.
- Indirect Supervision (40%)
- Review data collected during client sessions to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide feedback to staff.
- Participate in treatment planning meetings, clinical discussions, and team meetings to review client progress and modify interventions as needed.
- Provide mentorship and training to Clinical Supervisors and mid-tier staff to develop their clinical skills and promote leadership within the team.
- Oversee the documentation and audit processes to ensure the accuracy of session notes, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Support staff development by providing ongoing education, training, and resources to maintain ethical and effective ABA practices.
- Program Management
- Work with the leadership team to develop and refine ABA programs that meet the needs of clients and their families.
Ensure the program complies with ethical standards set by the BACB and other regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in staffing decisions, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations for direct reports.
- Collaborate with the scheduling and administrative teams to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency of service delivery.
- Engage in regular communication with families and caregivers to discuss client progress, address concerns, and ensure consistency in therapeutic interventions.
For each case a minimum of 4 to 6 times per 6 month authorization ( duration for each visit require 1 hour)
Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required).
- Master’s degree in ABA, psychology, or a related field.
- Experience in supervising and managing ABA services, with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Strong clinical expertise in ABA, with the ability to guide staff and address complex behavior challenges.
- Proficient in data analysis, treatment planning, and delivering constructive feedback to staff.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance direct and indirect supervision duties.
