We are looking for a motivated and reliable Medical Assistant to float between our four Fort Worth area locations. (N Ft Worth, Euless, Southlake and Cedar Hill)
Position Overview :
As a Floating Medical Assistant (MA), you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care across multiple locations.
You will support our lab services, provide excellent customer service, and assist with phlebotomy, injections, and other medical procedures.
The ideal candidate must be adaptable, organized, and comfortable traveling between locations. In this position you wll be consulting with customers on the various tests we offer so they can make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Travel to assigned locations in the Fort Worth area as needed.
- Perform phlebotomy and administer injections (B12, Flu, etc.)
- Perferm urine, hair, nail and saliva drug tests (DOT and non-DOT)
- Maintain patient records, laboratory logs, testing logs and ensure proper documentation.
- Follow established protocols for sample collection, handling, and processing.
- Provide patients with information and education regarding lab tests and results.
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of equipment and examination rooms.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operation across all locations.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, empathy, and customer service.
- Maintain customer confidentiallity and comply with HIPPA regulations.
All candidates should possess the following skills :
REQUIRED :
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Two years of recent phlebotomy experience.
- Ability to work across multiple locations with reliable transportation.
- Knowlede of common clinical tests.
- Desire to continually learn about the tests that we offer.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Flexibility with scheduling, including some Saturdays
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Must be able to pass a Background check and Drug Screen
DESIRED :
- Strongly prefer bilingual (Spanish / English)
- Customer service experience (Retail, Food Service, Sales, etc)
