Job Summary
Performs a variety of independent laboratory work and experiments such as determining experimental protocols and preparation of specimens and cultures.
Prepares reports of findings subsequent to compilation and analyzation. Oversees specimen inventory. Develops documentation for publication;
crafts manuscripts and grant proposals.
Essential Functions
- Maintain mouse breeding and experimental colony and tissue processing for downstream analysis.
- Genotyping, husbandry and experimental work
- Conducts immunohistochemistry and related techniques
Physical Effort
This is basically a sedentary position. However, there will be some walking between the animal facility and the lab.
