Celebrations Speech Group is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) for an in-person, school-based position in Los Altos, CA.
This role offers a flexible schedule, approximately 32 hours per week, within a supportive and dynamic team. Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy services to elementary and middle school students in a collaborative environment with extensive professional development opportunities.
About the Role
- Caseload : Work with students from preschool to 8th grade.
- Schedule : Approximately 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to meet school needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized, evidence-based occupational therapy services to students.
- Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and staff to support students' functional and academic performance.
- Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and monitor student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and strategy development.
- Communicate with families and caregivers about student progress and therapy goals.
Qualifications
- Required : Current California OT License.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong ability to collaborate with staff and build rapport with students.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse student needs.
