Director of Programs
Position : As our Director of Programs, you are responsible for overseeing our programs, classes, and education events which allow us to achieve our mission to provide support, education, and empowerment so cancer survivors and their caregivers may create their best lives.

As our director of programs, you get to :
- Oversee all A Time to Heal (ATTH) programs, including Survivorship 101, Under 45 Survivorship, Navigating Brain Fog, and our Advanced / Chronic Cancer support groups.
- Cultivate community partnerships locally and nationally to advance the reach of ATTH.
- Direct our annual conference education and Create Your Best Life events, including topic selection, speaker recruitment, and continuing education.
- Ensure integrity of program participant and facilitator data by managing our database.
- Design, produce, and maintain professional surveys, statistical reports, and presentations.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures related to program processes.
As our manager of program facilitators, you get to :
- Recruit new facilitators.
- Provide ongoing support to all facilitators.
- Direct and coordinate facilitator trainings and recertifications.
As a valued leader on our team, you will :
- Supervise and oversee the program manager.
- Work closely with the Executive Director to provide accurate information and data for grant applications and reports to donors.
- Help establish new programs and evaluations based on current survivorship and organization needs.
- Represent ATTH at local, regional, and national conferences and events.
- Communicate with our cancer survivors with empathy, patience, and compassion.
This job might be for you if :
- You have at least three years of experience as a nonprofit program manager / director, or at least five years of experience as a manager / director in healthcare or education.
- You never rest on past success. You’re always looking to make things bigger, better, and more efficient.
- You pay great attention to detail and take pride in your work being correct.
- You are a relationship builder and not afraid to make cold calls. You listen to understand and are an excellent communicator through writing and speaking.
- You find solutions, not problems. You’re willing to share your ideas.
- You are an enthusiastic self-starter capable of working with diverse teams to reach a common goal. Initiating and completing projects is right up your alley.
You know how to make timely, effective, and ethical decisions and when to ask for guidance.
- Computers do what you say. You are confident with databases, Zoom, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel).
- You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty and can stuff envelopes when needed.
- You have a valid driver’s license.
- You are able and available to travel when needed (travel is only about 4% annually).
What we can offer you :
- $60,000-$70,000 annually (depending upon experience).
