Our client is a dynamic, boutique wealth management firm in Westport, CT with a mission to educate the community on all things financial and empower others to live their best lives.

They design a personalized plan and help clients execute it by safely navigating their financial journey and having meaningful adventures.

The firm provides comprehensive financial planning, investment advisory solutions, education funding strategies, holistic wealth management, retirement planning, and risk management.

They are adding a Service Advisor to support the firm in Westport.

Responsibilities

  • Sit second chair on senior advisor's client meetings for an initial transition period to build
  • relationships with clients and understand and adopt the firm's financial planning philosophy.
  • Conduct reviews for a client segment to ensure their investment, advanced planning, and insurance strategies are connected to their updated goals.
  • Identify any new areas of business development for current clients including, but not limited to : planning and new assets, referrals and introductions, next gen, COIs, etc.
  • Work with the investment, planning and operations teams to collaborate on analysis,
  • recommendations, and service items.
  • Shadow the director of financial planning to learn the financial planning process and the senior advisor to learn advanced planning strategies and techniques.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-3+ years of financial planning experience
  • CFP preferred (or obtain in first 18 months with the firm)
  • Series 7 and 66 and LAH insurance license
  • Have a desire to : Network and build meaningful relationships with executives, COIs, business owners, and high-net worth individuals, Be a confident and an effective communicator, Be coachable, Want to influence and contribute to a rapidly growing wealth management firm

Compensation

  • $120,000 base salary with additional incentive compensation. $175,000-200,000 OTE
