RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Prepare ingredients for recipes prior to service with team
  • Keep kitchen clean and organized with team
  • Fulfill sanitation codes / standards and Department of Health regulations, ensuring team follows as well
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the front of house team
  • Accommodate the needs of the guests such as allergy and / or dietary restrictions and modifications
  • Prepare the existing menu and ideate / execute seasonal or daily specials
  • Experience with Toast POS system to follow orders received
  • Ability to pace out food and manage kitchen staff when guest count is low or high
  • Communicate with manager for kitchen needs / re stocks
  • Executes family meal daily prior to service with team
  • Great management, leads by example and delegates efficiently

REQUIREMENTS :

  • 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • Classic cooking techniques and recipe knowledge
  • Health Department certification preferred
  • Great communicate with team
  • Fluent in spanish and english
  • Calm demeanor in kitchen give semi-open space concept
