RESPONSIBILITIES :
Prepare ingredients for recipes prior to service with team
Keep kitchen clean and organized with team
Fulfill sanitation codes / standards and Department of Health regulations, ensuring team follows as well
Work closely and collaboratively with the front of house team
Accommodate the needs of the guests such as allergy and / or dietary restrictions and modifications
Prepare the existing menu and ideate / execute seasonal or daily specials
Experience with Toast POS system to follow orders received
Ability to pace out food and manage kitchen staff when guest count is low or high
Communicate with manager for kitchen needs / re stocks
Executes family meal daily prior to service with team
Great management, leads by example and delegates efficiently
REQUIREMENTS :
3-5 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen
Classic cooking techniques and recipe knowledge
Health Department certification preferred
Great communicate with team
Fluent in spanish and english
Calm demeanor in kitchen give semi-open space concept
