About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $1828 To $2031 Job Title : Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty : Respiratory Therapy, Radiologic Technology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour day shifts Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Experience : Inpatient / outpatient Pulmonary Rehabilitation experience is ideal License : Registered Respiratory Therapist (Active) Certifications : Relevant certifications as required Must-Have : Proficient in patient assessments, communication, and developing treatment plans Job Description : Conduct comprehensive patient assessments- Communicate findings requiring discussion or medical follow-up to referring physicians- Develop individual treatment plans with collaborative patient goals- Work within a protocol to order appropriate medications and therapies- Demonstrate effective time management with multiple pending tasks- Establish medical necessity for skilled levels of care and services- Ensure patient safety- Provide interactive education and skills training sessions for patients and their families- Engage family members whenever possible- Monitor, reassess, and modify treatment to support patient progress- Participate in multidisciplinary team conferences, staff meetings, and in-services as appropriate- Collect and review patient and program outcomes- Develop home management plans for patients with chronic diseases- Maintain communication with referring providers- Initiate departmental emergency procedures as necessary- Recommend pulmonary rehabilitation to potential patients- Work with Pulmonary Rehabilitation Respiratory Therapist to provide Respiratory Therapy supervision during sessions- Provide safe and competent respiratory interventions, including mechanical ventilation- Deliver effective and emergent therapy for patients across all demographics in the emergency room (neonatal, pediatric, and geriatric) Additional Information : Compliance with start dates is required.
