About The Position
Job Title : PET CT Technologist Job Specialty : PET CT Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 10 Hour Days Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : 1 to 2 years of PET CT experience License : Rad / CT Tech License (NH) Certifications : Nuclear Medicine Certification (ARRT or NMTCB), BLS Must-Have : - High school diploma or GED required - Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred - Willingness to work at multiple locations Job Description : - Focus on transforming the patient experience and delivering exceptional quality care.
- Use exceptional communication skills to connect with patients, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
- Interpret physician orders / instructions accurately to select appropriate software options and imaging parameters. - Produce high-quality PET / CT images / studies for accurate diagnosis and treatment by physicians.
- Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications, implementing aseptic injection techniques, and adhering to radiation safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists. - Train new technologists and troubleshoot the scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment.
- Utilize GE Discovery PET / CT Unit.
