About The Position
Job Title : Cath Lab Technologist Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day, 4x9.5-Hour (07 : 00 - 16 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years required, with at least 1 prior travel assignment License : Valid state license required at time of submission;
specifics depend on the location of the assignment Certifications : BLS, ACLS, RCIS or CI Must-Have : - Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech- Experience circulating procedures in an interventional cardiac cath lab- Capability of administering and monitoring procedural sedation Job Description : Work four nine-hour shifts, Monday through Friday- Provide services in an interventional cardiac cath lab- Perform and circulate in cardiac procedures such as diagnostic catheterizations (adult), left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, and pulmonary artery line / Swan Ganz monitoring- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias effectively- Monitor up to 5 procedural sedation cases per day- Administer and monitor procedural sedation medications - Handle responsibilities related to a specific range of patients including adults and geriatrics- Expected to be on-call for 10 shifts per month, including 1 weekend, and available for 3 separate 24-hour weekend on-call shifts- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity when necessary- Previous experience in electrophysiology (EP) lab, interventional radiology, special procedures, and previous charge experience preferred- Scrubs provided, color-coded as blue- Use of Cerner system preferred- Mandatory flu vaccination with no exemptions allowed
