The SAP OTC Analyst role revolves around addressing challenges within the Order-to-Cash (OTC) domain, specifically focusing on Sales and Distribution (SD) in SAP.
Primary stakeholders include junior sales representatives who spend significant time on the phone. This position typically suits individuals with a penchant for process-oriented tasks and a degree of patience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing Technology Lead to support SAP solutions and related applications. This involves tasks such as validating business requirements, configuring SAP systems, testing process improvements, documenting workflows, and developing training materials.
- Engage with Customer Service and the Customer Digital Engagement team to identify areas for improvement and implement business initiatives related to Rebates, Global Available to Promise (GATP), Pricing Strategies, and ngc4me.com.
- Handle ad hoc requests and offer data-driven recommendations by conducting thorough analysis and testing using tools like Tosca, intermediate Excel analysis, and Microsoft Office Visio.
- Work in tandem with team members to stay updated on best practices and continuously enhance support capabilities.
- Stay abreast of business trends, economic conditions, and customer initiatives to identify opportunities for process enhancement and facilitate informed decision-making through comprehensive documentation using Visio.
Requirements :
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales and / or logistics.
- Proficiency in SAP implementation and configuration.
- Previous experience in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) support; familiarity with interactions between SAP SD TM and APO is advantageous.
- Exposure to Global Available to Promise (GATP) in both ECC and APO is a plus.
- Understanding of SAP SD business processes and the ability to pinpoint areas for process improvement in collaboration with business stakeholders and the Sales & Marketing Technology Lead.
- Functional knowledge of Order-to-Cash processes.
