About The Position
Required Certifications :
RN : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Required Education :
RN : Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
Skills required : PCU RN :
PCU RN :
Previous experience with our types of patients above, including IMC / stepdown and neuro; ability to read / interpret cardiac strips, wound care, line management, drain / tube management, drip titration of below medications
Drip Titration :
Most commonly - Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Levophed (up to 5 mcg), occasionally esmolol drips (will train if traveler has not done these) or other Betablockers or other antihypertensives
Charting System :
Epic - strongly preferred; must get approval from Manager prior to offer

Floating :
Any Adult Inpatient Unit - Med Surg, Ortho / Neuro / Surgical, Heart and Vascular Unit, Oncology, Observation
Could be floated within scope of practice and below
