Ricoh Technology and SolutionsDevelopment located in Boulder Colorado is seeking an experiencedzOS systems programmer (IBM Mainframe Systems technical skills andknowledge).
Successful candidate will beperforming the tasks of a zOS Systems Programmer maintaining andupgrading the zOS Operating System and supporting users.
This assignment is a hybrid position located in BoulderColorado (free parking) where the candidate may need to come onsite periodically.
We would consider a remoteworker (U.S.) for the right candidate that contains the requiredz / OS skills and technical knowledge.
Positionrequires U.S Citizenship.
Prefer Part timeworker (3 days per week) if they have another job they need to havea strong amount of availability for this role
There will be no extensive lifting standing or walking. No drivingis required as well. Dress code is casual business attire.

Theexperienced z / OS systems programmer candidate will join a smallteam of technical system experts who manage upgrade and support IBMzOS Mainframe systems.
The Development Support team providesvaluable systems expertise and support to Development professionalswho are responsible for multiple stages of development fromrequirements definition architecture implementation and customersupport for software and hardware print products.
The successful candidate will beprovided an opportunity to immediately contribute to zOS Mainframerelated tasks and projects as well as opportunities to utilizeincrease and share their technical knowledge and skills in themainframe operating systems.
The candidate willleverage their expertise of mainframe operating systems and strongproblemsolving skills to upgrade systems resolve system issues andassist and educate users and other team members.
The new team member will be expected to assume additionalresponsibilities as assigned.
Must workeffectively in a team environment but also be able to carry outtasks independently while working alongside industryexperts.

Minimum Qualifications :
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS :
Bachelors degree preferred withat least 5 7 years of work experience or equivalent zOSexperience.
REQUIRED SKILLS :
Mainframe zOS systems software programming experience andexpertise
Experience working with hardware to include abasic understanding of FICON / ESCON connectivity DASD architecturealias (PAV) management cryptographic coprocessors data encryptiontechniques and virtual (VTS) tape libraries.
zOSexperience with catalog management ISPF / SDSF z / FS Filesystems UnixSystem Services RACF JES parameters SYS1.PARMLIB SYS1.PROCLIBmembers.
zOS SYSPLEX management including couple datasetdefinition and coupling facilities.
Dataset / Storage / Disk / Tape management (allocation backup restoreetc.) including DFDSS DFSMS storage constructs DFHSM Mgmt / CleanupDFRMM XCF System Logger etc.
Ability to debug andresolve Mainframe operating system software issues (across older tocurrent z / OS levels)
Work well in a teamenvironment
Ability to teach and assist users and otherteam members
Availability to work some weekend / offshift coverage and maintenance windows
