Role Overview :
This position will be based out of the Phoenix, Arizona location as part of GTI Energy. As an Industrial Technician at GTI Energy, you will be an essential part of our team responsible for assembling components into Energy Storage Enclosures, according to provided specifications, and configuring the assembly of mechanical components.
Work being performed will be done indoors inside of a warehouse.
Job Responsibilities :
- Performs a wide range of skilled repetitive heavy industrial assembly operations in support of production projects, ensuring precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Fits, files, drills, and assembles junction boxes, panels, or performs a wide variety of diversified and difficult electrical assemblies for the installation to the enclosures
- Cuts, strips, and mounts wires to connect electrical units
- Blueprint Reading : Utilize your ability to read and interpret simple blueprints to ensure accurate assembly
- Power Tools : Safely operate power tools and equipment required for the assembly and construction processes.
- Cleans parts prior to production use as required.
- Supports cycle count activity, inventory handling, and inventory transactions following established material procedures.
- Participates in continuous improvement and team building activities; maintains productive working relationships with all team members.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Complete sheeting, trimming, and plumbing as needed for customer projects.
Required Qualifications :
- Previous experience in assembly, electrical assembly, and / or general construction for at least 3 years'.
- Required to have experience in the heavy industrial assembly space completing electrical and or mechanical assembly of materials.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics and assembly drawings.
- Proficiency in using power tools and electrical measuring equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel.
- Willing to work overtime
