Job Title : Special Education Teacher
Location : NearRomulus, Michigan
Position Overview :
We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers for the 2024-2025 school year to fill various positions across our districts.
Candidates will have the opportunity to work in a range of grade levels and settings, providing essential support to students with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments and testing to evaluate student progress.
- Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct instruction and support tailored to students needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, ensuring IEP goals are met.
- Collaborate with staff and parents to implement accommodations and modifications.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications :
- Current MI SPED license
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
