Summary

Intellum Senior Product Managers are the business leaders of their product area. Senior PMs oversee the largest products and product areas of the Intellum platform.

They are passionate about delivering solutions that provide value-driven client outcomes. To do that they work tightly with customers, Intellum’s client-facing teams, engineering and design to deliver solutions that increase client value, align with Intellum’s product strategy, and solve the needs of our users.

Senior PMs also provide leadership and mentoring to other Product team members.

Senior Product Managers provide prioritization leadership, bring business and user research into solutioning discussions, and support Product Owners with the delivery of new products and features.

This will require working closely with our customers and client-facing teams to research and understand users’ pain points, competitors, and the market opportunity.

You will be responsible for prioritization recommendations that maximize our ROI.

Following successful prioritization, you will support solutioning, preparing product initiatives for the build phase, and partnering with your pod to ensure the successful delivery of those projects through the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a product roadmap for your product area in alignment with the platform strategy and input from clients and internal teams.
  • Increase product value to customers by meeting adoption and product / market fit goals.
  • Deliver products and features that contribute to the revenue growth of your product area.
  • Make product prioritization recommendations to the business that maximize value and minimize development cost.
  • Conduct product research with clients and client-facing teams that focuses on understanding user needs, problems, and business goals.
  • Partner with Product Marketing on market research and competitive analysis.
  • Collaborate with Design and Engineering to create solutions that are technically feasible and create an outstanding user experience.
  • Partner with and support Product Owners in translating roadmap initiatives into a well-refined backlog that is aligned with the product strategy.
  • Ensure quality of solutions through UAT, client feedback, and release strategies (e.g. alpha, beta).
  • Partner with the GTM team to ensure successful release and adoption of new features.
  • Support sales, professional services, support, and enablement teams worldwide, with the goal to enable Intellum customers to adopt new product features.
  • Evangelize your products, advocate for the end user, cultivate close relationships with customers, and bring their needs into product planning.
  • Participate in pricing & packaging recommendations for your product.
  • Identify and recommend product development process improvements.
  • Share best practices and training for other product managers.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of SaaS product management experience with a track record of successful product delivery.
  • Able to manage complex projects as well as multiple projects in parallel.
  • Strong technical competence, ability to establish credibility with engineers and clients.
  • Passionate about bringing solutions to the table, working in small, fast paced teams, has a desire to ship, and is comfortable in a growing, changing environment.
  • Able to distill complex and ambiguous client input, isolating out the root problem.
  • Proficient in data analysis with strong SQL skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver integrated solutions across multiple systems or across a wide range of complex technologies.
  • Proficient technical skills including APIs, HTML and CSS, Authentication (OAuth, SAML, etc), and third party integrations.
  • Strong client presence and internal communication skills across all mediums.
  • Organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple ongoing projects in parallel.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment :

  • Occasional irregular work hours.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, etc.
  • Extended time viewing a computer monitor.
  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
