Position Overview : Assembles custom conveyors from start to finish. Location : This position will work out of both our Hartland, WI and Sussex, WI locations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Uses a variety of hand tools to assemble all components of the conveyor according to print / work order.
- Inspects finished product for defects and performs quality checks.
- Troubleshoots non-conforming parts throughout the assembly / electrical process.
- Expedites orders as needed.
- Collaborates with Engineers and Sales.
- Performs 5S to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Works from schematic drawings to build and install electrical components.
- Flex work as needed and assist in other ETO areas such as mechanical.
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities :
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and demonstrated basic blueprint and schematic reading skills.
- Ability to deal with ambiguous / undefined problems.
- Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands.
- Strong attention to detail.
Required Qualifications :
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- 5 + years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment is preferred.
- 1 + years of electrical experience preferred.
- Ability to lift / lower / push / pull up to 40 lbs. safely.
