Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Analyst III audits, measures, and reports on compliance with enterprise quality assurance policies, procedures, and methodology. This role ensures testing processes are thorough, risk is minimized, and systems changes, enhancements, and new installations meet established standards. This role also provides technical expertise in test planning, requirement analysis, and test execution to support the full software development lifecycle.
This position is based in Leawood, KS and is not eligible for relocation.
What you will be doing :
- Review and validate system changes, enhancements, and data processes through test planning, test execution, and defect management.
- Run interfaces, database scripts, and queries to confirm accuracy of results for data updates, migrations, and ETL processes.
- Conduct regression testing, system integration testing, and product testing.
- Provide sign-off or rejection for IT changes based on test results and risk assessment.
- Create and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) documentation including test plans, test scripts, test conditions, test results, job aids, and status reports.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation validation.
- Lead requirement analysis and test strategy development for projects as needed.
- Coordinate QA test environments, resources, and schedules.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members and contractors.
- Collaborate with project teams, external vendors, and technology partners to ensure alignment and quality outcomes.
- Track and report quality metrics, defects, and risks to management and project stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, software development lifecycle practices, and change management processes.
What we need from you :
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field; or equivalent business and technical experience.3+ years of experience in test planning, documentation, and execution.3+ years of experience with SQL scripting.Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, test structures, risk analysis, and quality controls.Experience collaborating on cross-functional technical projects.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to evaluate data, identify risks, and recommend solutions.Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technical and non-technical teams.Proficiency with productivity and testing tools such as SQL Server, Oracle, Azure, HP Quality Center, ALM, Microsoft Office, and data comparison tools.Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and timelines while maintaining high attention to detail.Demonstrated leadership qualities, integrity, and initiative in driving projects forwardWhat we also value (preferred) :
3+ years of QA test planning, execution, and documentation.3+ years of SQL scripting experience.Experience with Azure and Hadoop big data platforms.Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau.Experience with automated testing frameworks.Background in software quality assurance or testing methodologies.Knowledge of AMC business processes and systems.Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in quality assurance.Minimum qualifications :
