Security Guard - Garden City & Milliken
We are a growing company seeking a Armed or Unarmed Security Guard in the Marijuana Industry.
Among other qualifications, the position requires obtaining a MED Badge from the State of Colorado.
When reviewing applications, we will give heavy preference to people who have their badge already.
The planned schedule will be Sunday, Monday, and Thursday, working open to close shifts.
This is a full time role.
Maintains the sensibility to detect, assess, and protect security risks creating solutions to best protect the company.
Responsible for monitoring and observing security cameras in efforts to detect suspicious and unlawful behavior.
Performs perimeter checks around all properties, insuring the security of the premises for all employees, patients and / or customers.
Provides excellent customer service to our customers when in the store, helping keep the line moving, etc.
Proficient written and oral communication skills.
Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
Other job duties as assigned.
Must stay current and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED); and obtain a Garden City Merchant Guard License.
If you choose to carry lethal force, you will be subject to a pre-hire and ongoing random drug testing, including for marijuana.
Prefer Military or Law Enforcement experience and great customer service.
Pay : $14.00 per hour for unarmed, $15 per hour for armed (after 30 days of satisfactory performance).
