We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Tax Senior Manager to join the Business Management Group in our New York City office in a Hybrid capacity.

The UHNW (Ultra High Net Worth) / Business Management team is a dynamic and dedicated group of tax and accounting professionals who specialize in managing the complex financial needs of individuals within the music & entertainment space.
We work with clients to help them achieve their goals around complex financial matters tied to their business, individual and familial needs.
Our team handles everything from taxes to estate and trusts, financial statements, SALT, and international tax matters.
The right candidate will own the attributes of executive presence and emotional intelligence, as well as having a growth mindset.

YOUR ROLE :
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Serve as the Engagement Manager on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, final deliverable development, and billing and collections.
- Develop a detailed engagement work plan, illustrating budgets and schedules. Monitor project status against the work plan and communicate schedule adjustments to CohnReznick management.
- Develop a professional relationship with the client. Gain the respect and confidence of the client by consistently demonstrating supreme customer service, quality work products, and professional integrity.
- Serve as the prime point-of-contact to the client. Ensure that the client is fully informed of engagement progress and logistics.
- Gain the respect and confidence of the CohnReznick team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise team direction.
- Prepare timely and accurate bills for professional services rendered.
YOUR EXPERIENCE :
The successful candidate will have :
- Education : BS / BA accounting; CPA required
- Minimum 8+ years tax & accounting experience in public accounting
- Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards
- Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
- Strong leadership, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Computer expertise including knowledge of audit-preparation software and an understanding of the impact of technology
- Proven technical skills with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook; audit software, ProSystems or GoSystems, and CCH Engagement experience a plus
- Solid organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task

In New York City, the salary range for a Tax Manager is $145,000 to $245,000. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded and inclusive parental benefits, and access to best-in-class learning and development platforms, to name a few.
