We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Commission Analyst in Irvine, California. This role is crucial in our team, as it involves the computation and processing of sales commissions, as well as serving as a vital link between our accounting department and sales teams.
The Commission Analyst will also participate in special projects within our finance department, contributing to financial analysis, process improvements, and reporting.
Responsibilities :
- Accurately process sales commissions in accordance with company policies and sales agreements.
- Utilize accounting software systems and advanced Excel skills to track performance metrics and automate processes.
- Serve as the primary contact point for sales teams regarding commission-related inquiries and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with sales and accounting departments to ensure accurate allocation of commissions and adherence to payroll schedules.
- Participate in financial analysis, process improvement initiatives, and ad-hoc reporting projects within the finance department.
- Leverage advanced Excel skills to streamline commission calculations and reporting.
- Generate detailed commission and performance reports for management and sales teams.
- Analyze commission data to identify errors, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Reconcile commission payments with accounting records, sales reports, and contracts.
- Ensure all commission processes comply with company policies and applicable regulations while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial and employee data
- Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
- Possess knowledge of ADP - Financial Services
- Experience with CRM systems
- Proficiency in Crystal Reports
- Familiarity with Data Mining Techniques
- Proficient in performing Accounting Functions
- Understanding of Accrual Accounting
- Experience in Auditing
- Knowledge of Budget Processes
- Proficient in Capital Management
