Valet Attendant - Hotels
Have you always wanted to know what it's like to give the classic valet experience that you see in the movies?
Clayton Valet is looking for customer service-oriented individuals ready to join our team of prompt, polite, and professional valet attendants and work at our suave hotel locations!
Compensation and Benefits :
- $13.30 / hr starting + Tips
- 401(k) 4% Match - available after 3 months of employment
- Performance Review - potential raise after 60 days
- Health / Vision / Dental Insurance - available after working 1 year of FT hours
- PTO accrual plan available after hire
- Holiday Pay (Time and a half for working select holidays)
- Weekly Pay
Shifts Available :
- Primarily afternoon and evenings with occasional morning shifts
- 2 : 30pm - 11pm
Primary Job Responsibilities :
- Skillfully and efficiently park and retrieve customer vehicles without safety incidents
- Assist customers with any personal belongings, if requested (may require lifting up to 30lbs)
- Enhance customer relations by providing service with a friendly demeanor, willingness to help, and a smile
- Use and maintain valet equipment properly, including keeping equipment and work area clean and organized
- Observe traffic laws and practice safety precautions at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements :
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must pass the valet safety check
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Maintain a clean uniform and professional appearance at all times
- Able to perform physical activities such as standing, running and bending
- Ability to stand up for up to eight hours
- Must be able to work in all elements (i.e. rain, snow, sunshine)
- Must have some form of transportation or complete understanding of the bus schedule
- Tattoos must be concealable
