We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Consulting Data Entry Clerk to join our team in the medical industry. This position is integral to our operational efficiency, ensuring accurate and timely recording of crucial data.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and a passion for accuracy.

This role not only requires data entry skills but also the ability to analyze and interpret the data in meaningful ways to support management decisions.

Responsibilities :

1. Accurately and efficiently enter patient information into the database using EZ-Cap or equivalent software.

2. Review and verify entered data for accuracy, correcting any discrepancies and ensuring the integrity of the data.

3. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines / regulations.

4. Collaborate with team members to streamline data entry processes and improve data management systems.

5. Provide regular reports to the management team, highlighting any issues or discrepancies.

6. Consult with medical staff and other departments to clarify information or resolve any data-related issues.

7. Regularly backup data to prevent data loss and ensure data integrity.

8. Stay updated with the latest practices and tools in data management and suggest improvements for data entry and analysis.

Qualifications :

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a data entry role, preferably within the medical industry.

2. Proficiency in EZ-Cap or equivalent data entry software is a must.

3. Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of HIPAA regulations.

4. Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

8. Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and manage time effectively.

9. High school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in data management or related field will be a plus.
