We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and dynamic Permanent Tax Manager to join our finance team. This position plays a critical role in managing and overseeing all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and reporting for our organization.

The candidate must have a proven track record of managing a wide range of tax-related duties, including but not limited to, corporate taxes, tax audits, and tax accounting.

Responsibilities :

1. Manage and oversee all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and reporting for the organization.

2. Ensure timely and accurate filing of all local, state, and federal tax returns.

3. Research and analyze tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential tax savings opportunities.

4. Review financial data for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to tax laws and regulations.

5. Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax savings.

6. Coordinate and manage tax audits, respond to tax notices, and resolve tax disputes in a timely and effective manner.

7. Provide expert tax advice and guidance to the management team and other stakeholders.

8. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and tax compliance.

9. Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate the potential impact to the management team.

10. Lead and mentor junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Tax Manager (CTM) designation is preferred.

3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a tax manager role or a similar position.

4. Extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.

5. Proven experience with corporate taxes, tax audits, and tax accounting.

6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and analyze tax laws and regulations.

7. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

8. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and mentor junior staff members.

9. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax information in a clear and understandable manner.

10. Proficiency in tax software and other finance-related software.

11. Strong commitment to ethical standards and high level of integrity.
