Our client, a company specializing in the transportation and storage of goods is looking to hire an Associate for Assembly / Sorting for their location in Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities for this position will include replacing any defective components on the pallet using supplied tools. These tools include Pneumatic nailers, reciprocating saws, and angle grinders.
The Day-to-Day :
- Sort pallets by lifting them onto the worktable and inspecting them from top, bottom, and each side.
- Restock lumber and keep the workstation clean and organized throughout the day.
- Memorize pallet specifications and ensure all pallets processed meet specifications.
- Clean or report any contamination or potential food safety issues for customers.
- Learn, understand, and adhere to all safety policies and procedures for the depot as well as for your role.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to memorize and apply pallet specifications to pallets.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary.
Pay Rate / Shifts :
- $15.00 to $25.00 / hr
- Monday to Friday
- 1st and 2nd Shifts are available
