Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,663 per week
Certification DetailsACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS certification requiredPrior to acceptance, the Dysrhythmia Exam (Basic) through UNA is required to be sent along with acceptance.
This must be completed within 24-48 hrs. A screenshot showing the number of attempts is also required. You’ll need to set your traveler up for this exam immediately.

Job RequirementsMust have 2 years of experienceHold an active BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH and CA License Schedule Information12 hr shifts.
Report is at the bedside. OT and extra shifts are available. Self-scheduling is used, but is not finalized until Manager balances it.
Schedules are out 4 weeks. Travelers can access their schedules from home and make themselves "available" for extra shifts and make trades with other staff.
Block scheduling is generally not available.Every other weekendHoliday time off will be considered, however not guaranteed Unit Specific InformationUnit : ED# bed : 14 bed with 4 fast track included.

Mid-shift float to another facility is rare, but can happen.Floor specific orientation : 1 - 2 days on the floor with preceptor.
Common diagnosis / Types of patients : CP r / o MI, exacerbation of chronic diseases, psych holds. All major cases transported to San Juan or Mercy General.
Additional Notes : General community hospital ER patients.;12hr Nights, EOW, First to Float Additional DetailsModules are required to be done before start of assignment.
Modules take on average 3-4 hours to complete-this time is not billable to the hospital.For Holiday RTO : Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years).
Unit managers will make the final call on scheduling.
