As a scientist on this team, you will :
- Understand in depth the technical and scientific issues related to controllability, safety, fairness, privacy, security, robustness, explainability, and / or transparency,
- Advance the science and practice of responsible AI, working along AWS service teams,
- Build and develop the AWS team,
- Liase with internal and external stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
- Experience building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business application
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- passion for Responsible AI
- willingness to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- publication record in ML, Responsible AI or a related-field
