Med Surg / Tele. 12 hour nights. 36 or 48 hours pwer week. 32 bed fast paced unit.Nurse Patient Ratio : 1 : 6; may go up to 1 : 8.
Nurses must be willing to take 8 when needed.Patient Age Groups : Adults, Geriatric, Remote TeleNurse will float to all MS units, cardio, medicine, otrtho, surgical, Neuro and Oncology.
Common Equipment : IV pumps, Tele, SCD's, PCA pump, Lifts, gait belts, CO2 monitoring, Line Management / Skills : Required : IV Insertion, PICC / Central Line Management, Vascular Device Access / CareOrtho / MS / Onc Skills : Required : Traction, CPM, Epidural / PCA pumps, Feeding Tubes, Wound VacCardiac : Required : Remote Tele, Tele InterpretationAirway Skills : Required : CPAP / BiPAP, Trach Care
