About The Position
Job Title : Technician Job Specialty : Surgical Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 3 12-hour shifts, either 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM or 8 : 30 AM - 9 : 00 PM, depending on skillset;
5x8-hour shifts available Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Must have at least 1+ years of strong recent surgical technician experience.
License : Not specified Certifications : Basic Cardiac Life Support required Must-Have : High School Diploma or equivalent Job Description : Work under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and Surgical Team members.
- Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during general surgical procedures.- Ensure understanding of the assigned surgical procedure and anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
- Provide service support related to patient preparation, transport, and specific patient care duties.- Assist the surgical care team in meeting safety and comfort needs of patients.
- Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures. Preferred : Graduate of CAAHEP accredited Surgical Technology program.
